Our Mission Statement:
The Beacon Trio is dedicated to crafting new musical works in the pursuit of illuminating lesser known narratives. As a collective, they lean into their unique compositional voices and synergy of artistic vision to foster connection and inspiration.
What We Do
Composers and vocalists Grace Becker, Chloe DeSteno, and Allyson C. Harvel came together after meeting at the International Choral Composers Institute in 2025. Instantly, they knew they shared an artistic vision for the future landscape of their own careers as well as the wider tapestry of vocal composition. Inspired by their female predecessors and emboldened by narratives that are humanistic and honest, they aim to be a light toward the next generation of female voices in the vocal and choral world. As a unit, they lean into the unique way their independent compositional voices coalesce and evolve into its own distinct sound. The Beacon Trio operates as both a compositional trio and a performing trio with their emphasis on living female voices and timeless stories.
